Pinoy Paris Paralympians get P1M each from BBM

Each Filipino athlete who competed in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games received P1 million from President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

They were also presented with a presidential citation during a simple ceremony in Malacañang on Thursday.

The Paralympians present during the event were para swimmers Ernie Gawilan and Angel Otom, para athletes Cendy Asusano and Jerrold Mangliwan, para archer Agustina Bantiloc, and para taekwondo jin Allain Ganapin.

More than 4,000 athletes from around the world joined the Paralympic Games in France from August 28 to September 8.
