Pangungunahan ni Ormoc City Mayor at Philippine Olympic Committee Vice President Richard Gomez ang men at women’s team ng National Clay Shooting Association of the Philippines (NCSAP) sa 46th Southeast Asian Shooting Association (SEASA) Championship at 1st Sporting Clays Philippine Open mula November 30- December 8.

Ang torneo na iho-host ng Pilipinas ay inaasahang dadaluhan ng humigit-kumulang 50 shooters mula sa mga kalapit bansa tulad ng Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, habang ilan ay kakatawanin ang Australia at United States of America.

“The spirit of the tournament is to celebrate regional friendship and cooperation over a shared passion for shooting,” pahayag ni NCSAP President Desi Laperal. 

“What makes shooting so special is that it’s a sport of pure skill — a level playing field for all. In shooting, there is no height, weight, age or reach advantage, and is a discipline Filipinos can and do excel in.”

Kabilang sa men’s national team si Gomez, Carlo Baltonado, at Antonio Brias, habang ang women’s team ay binubuo nina Reena Aguilar, Des Dimagiba, Marissa Floirendo, Tet Lara, at Sev Lopez.
