Pinuno Party-list Rep. Howard Guintu has filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) as representative of the 1st District of Capiz.

Guintu, who hails from Roxas City, seeks to continue the programs and projects that he has brought in Capiz’s 1st district during his current term as party-list representative.

The Capiznon lawmaker was met with overwhelming support from various sectors after he filed his COC.

“Aking pinasalamatan ang ating mga taga suporta na pumunta dito para sa aking pagfile ng COC. Ang laban na ito ay hindi para sakin, kundi para sa inyo,” said Guintu.

“Malaking hamon ito ngunit nais ko pong ipagpatuloy ang aking mga na simulan dito sa probinsya ng Capiz upang maramdaman nating lahat ang pagbabago dito sa ating probinsya. Marami na tayong nasimulan bilang party-list representative, pero mas marami pa tayong pwedeng gawin pa bilang inyong kinatawan sa distrito,” he added.
